Our Team

Our team consists of parents, schedule jugglers, recovering victims of all-nighters, procrastinators and overachievers…so we know a practical thing or two about the importance of a good night’s sleep. Meet the folks behind the scenes.

Alesandra Woolley

Alesandra helped turn the dream of starting Mattress Advisor into a reality. As the Executive Editor, she wakes up every morning and gets to work on helping people sleep better. Growing up in the City That Never Sleeps, she learned the hard way how important a good night of rest really is and made it her mission to help others realize the same. Alesandra is a stomach sleeper who fully embraces the fact that it’s the worst position to sleep in.

Elizabeth Petty

Elizabeth has been with Mattress Advisor since the company was only 3 months old. You may recognize her from a handful of our video reviews, but she’s also the girl that’s tested, photographed, reviewed, and published over 100 mattress reviews on the site. Sometimes referred to as “The Mattress Queen,” Elizabeth is a stomach sleeper trying to train herself to sleep on her back (because that’s what all the docs recommend). She doesn’t function without at least 8 hours of sleep.

Ashley Little

Ashley is a part of the editorial team at Mattress Advisor. You can find her working on any part of the process from unboxing, testing, and reviewing mattresses to researching and writing about why we dream and how we can’t live without sleep. Ashley is a lifelong side sleeper who refuses to sleep without a fan on and experiences lucid dreaming on occasion.

Amanda Lasater

As a retired college athlete, Amanda discovered the importance of sleep and wellness in sports and everyday performance. Since graduating, she has taken this passion for overall health and made it her career, providing insights and giving consumers a firsthand look at how important a good night’s rest is for the body. In her free time, Amanda enjoys practicing yoga, trying out different recipes that she finds on Pinterest and doing whatever she can to be outdoors in the sun.

Christine Huegel

Christine is a North Carolina native, who after graduating from the University of Illinois, lived in Chicago, New York City, and Seattle, before reclaiming the southeast as her official home. As someone who loves to travel and spends more time on a plane than in a car, she has mastered the art of comfort and sleep from any time zone. When Christine isn’t advocating for sleep health, you can find her making home-made candles, at the gym, or exploring different destinations on her bucket list.
