Pressure Relief

Since they are both hybrid mattresses, the Avocado Green and Awara do not perform as well at pressure relief as an all-foam mattress would. While they do make up for it in other categories such as cooling and responsiveness, if you are someone who experiences a lot of pressure in high-stress areas like your hips and shoulders, then this is something to keep in mind. If you’re looking for an all-foam mattress with great pressure relief, check out the Casper Original Foam.

Durability

Latex is quite durable, and it makes for stable, long-lasting mattresses. Many latex mattresses can last for as long as 15-25 years, and because of this the Awara and Avocado Green both scored well in the durability category, coming in at 9/10 and 8.5/10, respectively.

Cooling

Since latex doesn’t trap much heat, latex mattresses are usually very cooling. If you are a hot sleeper, you’ll find solace in the cooling benefits of both latex and a hybrid construction of the Avocado Green and Awara mattresses.

Which Is the Best Mattress for You?

Still have a few questions? Well, we will try to answer some of them with words instead of numbers, covering things such as which sleeping positions and budgets work best with the Avocado Green and Awara mattresses.

Sleeping Position

Because they are both 7/10 on the firmness scale (Avocado’s pillow top option makes it a 6/10), the Avocado Green and Awara are well suited for many, if not all, sleeping positions. If you are a side sleeper, the more forgiving 6/10 firmness of the Avocado pillow top feature may be your best bet. If the Awara is a bit too firm for you, it also comes with an optional pillow top option, just like the Avocado Green.

Sleep Environment

The Avocado Green and Awara are latex hybrid mattresses, meaning they both do an excellent job at providing a cool and comfortable sleeping environment. If you are a hot sleeper, then you’ll enjoy the breathability of either the Avocado Green or Awara.

Budget

The smaller sizes of each mattress are very comparable in price, but the prices of the king and California king-sized mattresses are about $400 apart. The Awara king and California king-sized mattresses are on the cheaper end of this comparison, making it the better option for those on a budget.
