The Bear Cloud Pillow is a plush pillow great for stomach and back sleepers. Its cloud-like give and cooling features make it one of our favorite pillows.

Are you a Bear mattress owner who wants a pillow that’s as luxuriously comfortable as your mattress? Before you rush off and opt for their all-foam pillow, know that the best pillow for you may not be a memory foam pillow…even if you love foam beds.
Bear understands this, which is why they’ve crafted two exquisite pillows: the Bear Pillow and the Bear Cloud Pillow. The Bear Pillow is 100% memory foam, while the Cloud Pillow is an incredibly fluffy down alternative pillow.
In this review, I’m going to share with you what I love about the Bear Cloud Pillow, as well as what sleepers will love—or hate—this luxurious hotel-style pillow.
What Is the Cloud Made Of?
The Bear Cloud Pillow is a down alternative pillow crafted from 100% hypoallergenic materials for a fluffy down-like experience without the potential irritation. To mimic the cloud-like loft of down, Bear utilizes airy 100% polyester fill. Their fill doesn’t go flat or become lumpy like other down alternatives, but stays cushy and plush for years.
The cover is also 100% polyester, which keeps the sleeping surface cool. For a cool-to-the-touch sleeping experience, use a breathable pillowcase.
Another perk of a 100% polyester pillow is its weight—polyester is ultra-light! With a lightweight pillow, you can reposition it easily if you like to change positions over the night.
What Makes This Down Alternative Pillow Special?
There are a lot of things to love about the Cloud Pillow. I’ve narrowed my laundry-list of reasons I love the Bear Pillow and chosen my top 3. Here they are.
1. It’s Always Fluffy
When you buy an ultra-plush, cloud-like pillow, the last thing you want is for it to turn flat or lumpy after a few weeks or months. And as a fluffy-pillow connoisseur, I’ve had many potential favorites turn into disappointments.
With the Cloud Pillow, you don’t have to fear the day when your pillow no longer has the huggable loft you love. Bear designed this pillow to ensure that it stays airy and squishy for years—just don’t forget to wash it correctly (more on this later).
2. It Sleep Cool
There’s nothing like slipping into bed and hugging a refreshingly cool pillow. And when the pillow is breathable, it won’t absorb body heat as the night goes on. This is the key for a comfy nighttime experience.
The Cloud Pillow truly excels as a cooling pillow. With cool yarn fibers and impressive breathability, the Cloud is touchably cool throughout the night. Hot sleepers will love the Cloud’s cooling potential.
3. It’s Easily Washable
The Bear Cloud Pillow has the easiest care instructions. All you need to do is machine wash it in cold water and tumble dry on low heat. Just don’t forget to throw tennis balls or dryer balls when you dry your pillow to keep it nice and fluffy!
Who Should Buy the Bear Pillow?
No one pillow is the perfect fit for everyone. You need to consider what loft, feel, and material you’re into. Let’s take a look at who should—and who shouldn’t—buy the Bear Pillow.
Our first group of people who should consider the Bear Pillow are those with allergies or asthma. The Bear Pillow is hypoallergenic, and as such, is safe for people with these sensitivities. We recommend that people with asthma or allergies buy an allergen mattress protector with a zipper. These pillow cases protect the pillow from dust mites, mold, and other allergens that can sneak in over time.
Next, anyone who prefers a soft pillow with a medium loft ought to consider the Cloud Pillow. Stomach sleepers and back sleepers tend to do the best with this type of pillow. And because it’s a light and moldable pillow, it’s a good pick for combination sleepers or those who move their pillow around at night.
Some side sleepers may find the Bear Cloud pillow insufficiently supportive. When side sleeping, you need a pillow that keeps your head in line with your spine. The Cloud Pillow is a medium-loft pillow that’s incredibly fluffy. When you lay your head upon it, its loft decreases, leaving side sleepers with a neck kink.
If you’re a side sleeper who loves the Bear brand, try their cooling foam pillow. Known as the Bear Pillow, this pillow boasts Loft-X hybrid foam. This unique material provides the perfect combination of plush give and contouring support that side sleepers need. And with a double ice fabric cover and mesh panels, it’s just as cool as the Bear Cloud pillow.
If this is your first time buying a pillow online, there are some cool perks you should know about. In this section, I’m going to tell you what to expect when buying a new Bear Cloud Pillow.

Pros and Cons
|Soft and Fluffy: The Bear Cloud Pillow is one of the softest, fluffiest pillows I’ve ever rested my head on. If you like to hug or snuggle your pillow, this is the pillow for you.||Relatively Pricey: Two king-sized pillows cost $120, which is more than the average cost of a pillow.|
|Hypoallergenic: As an allergy sufferer, I know how sad it is to have to turn away from luxurious down pillows. But with the Cloud, I have a hypoallergenic pillow whose cloud-like feel competes with the best down pillow!||No Single Option: The Bear Cloud Pillows are sold in 2-packs, so you cannot buy just one pillow.|
|Refreshingly Cool: Hot sleepers need an airy pillow if they don’t want to wake up covered in sweat. The Cloud Pillow’s fluffy, breathable polyester fill creates a pillow that’s cool-to-the-touch.||Minimal Loft: The Cloud pillow has a medium loft, not thick enough for some side sleepers.|
The Bear Cloud Pillow is one of the fluffiest pillows I’ve had the pleasure of snuggling up with. Its plush give and lightweight construction are excellent for sleepers who find hotel pillows the utmost in luxury.
The Cloud Pillow is best for back, stomach, and combination sleepers. If you’re a side sleeper, you might prefer the Bear Pillow, a loftier memory foam pillow. There’s one perk that comes with buying your next pillow online—Bear pillows can be returned for a full refund (minus the return shipping cost) for 100 days. This means you only keep your new pillow if it’s everything you’d wished it would be!
