Sleeping on our back or right side can exacerbate symptoms. The best option is to sleep on your left side with your upper body elevated by using an adjustable frame or wedge pillow.
While sleeping on your stomach doesn’t worsen symptoms to the same degree as back sleeping, this position is bad for your back and neck. Over time, you’re likely to experience pain when you sleep on your stomach.
