Brooklyn Bedding mattresses are just a few of the 100+ mattresses we’ve tested in our lab. We base these tests on key comfort, support, and practicality factors such as set-up, responsiveness, cooling, and more.
We spend an average of 6-10 hours testing, recording, and publishing our results per mattress, meaning we’ve spent nearly 80 hours on Brooklyn Bedding mattresses alone—hey, we told you sleep was important to us.
Brooklyn Bedding sells seven different quality mattress models, most of which are available in different firmness options. They also have five other mattress brands, each with their own site. In this overview, we’ll focus on the six mattresses on Brooklyn Bedding‘s main site. You can learn more about Brooklyn Bedding‘s other mattress brands here.

Each of these mattresses has been unboxed and tested by our expert team in our Mattress Lab. Don’t worry if you feel lost in the options – you’re in good hands.
In the following section, we’ll go over the highlights of each individual mattress. If you’re ready to know more about any individual brand, you can check out our in-depth reviews.
The Brooklyn Signature is Brooklyn Bedding’s first mattress model, a hybrid mattress that perfectly balances comfort and support. Its customizable firmness makes it a great option for all sleep positions and body types.
The Brooklyn Aurora is one of the most cooling mattresses we have ever tested. The top layer contains patented Copper Gel Energex infused with cooling beads that help to regulate temperature. Brooklyn Bedding’s founder, John Merwin, even sleeps on it himself, saying it is the best mattress he has ever built.
The superior pressure relief qualities of the Spartan mattress make it a great option for both active people and seniors. Its luxury hybrid design keeps you cool and the patented TitanFlex Foam supports pressure points as your body recovers during the night, offering nearly perfect spinal alignment.
The Bloom Hybrid mattress heavily features high-quality, natural talalay latex, great for pressure relief and cooling. This mattress is eco-friendly, made with organic wool and cotton in the comfort layer and is Oeko-Tex class 1 certified.
The ultimate budget foam bed, the Brooklyn Bowery offers medium firmness, so it is great for most sleep types. The contouring foam layers offer good responsiveness and keep motion transfer at bay.
Brooklyn Bedding’s Bowery Hybrid mattress adds an innerspring layer to the gel memory foam. The Bowery Hybrid is a great option for couples on a budget, offering good motion isolation and a reasonable price point of $799 for queen size. Not only that, but this mattress will keep both you and your sleep partner cool all night long.
The Sedona Hybrid is one of Brooklyn Bedding’s more expensive models, but the high price tag may be worth it to those looking for an all-around great bed. We found the Sedona to accommodate all sleeping positions, as well as couples and hot sleepers.

That depends! Factors like sleep position, whether or not you sleep with a partner, and where on the mattress you sleep all play into what you should look for in firmness. Some people find a firm mattress to be ideal, and others prefer a medium-firm option. To learn more about, check out our mattress firmness guide.
