Key Similarities:

  • All 3 of these mattresses are great picks for side sleepers. The memory foam found in the Nectar, Casper and Leesa does an excellent job of cushioning the hips and shoulders and relieving pressure.
  • Memory foam lovers are in good company here. All 3 are memory foam mattresses designed to hug your curves and give you that coveted memory foam feel.
  • We consider all of these mattresses to be some of our most top-rated picks. High-quality materials are used in each of these memory foam beds, and each is built to last.

Key Differences:

  • The Leesa keeps you cooler than the Nectar and Casper does. The Leesa is the only mattress out of the 3 that we’d recommend for hot sleepers.
  • The Nectar offers the most generous trial and warranty with its 1-year sleep trial and forever warranty that covers you for as long as you own the mattress.
  • The Nectar is the most affordable out of the 3 mattresses and has the best value. The Casper is the most expensive.

Casper Mattress Review Highlights

  • The original Casper mattress is a memory foam mattress made up of four soft foam layers. It reigns as one of the first bed-in-a-box mattresses and remains an industry leader today.
  • The Casper mattress has a unique Zoned Support system that cushions areas of high pressure, like the shoulders, while offering firmer support under the back and hips to maintain spine alignment.
  • Our testers gave the Casper a perfect score for responsiveness, making it a great choice for combination sleepers. This mattress moves with you as you change positions.

The Leesa Mattress

  • The Leesa is one of the highest rated mattresses on Mattress Advisor with a Mattress Advisor score of 9.3. With all that you get with the Leesa, we also rated it one of the best mattresses under $1,000.
  • The Leesa mattress was designed with all types of sleepers in mind but is a particularly good option for side sleepers. It has three different layers of memory foam that contour to your body and create air flow, so the pressure is relieved from your arms, shoulders, and hips.
  • The Leesa excels in cooling. The foam layers promote airflow to help dissipate body heat.
  • Durability is guaranteed with your Leesa mattress. They simulated 10 years of use to test Leesa’s durability, and found that the mattress had 0% height loss. This means that the Leesa doesn’t deteriorate overtime, and feels just as comfortable and supportive 10 years from now as the day you first slept on it.

The Nectar Mattress

  • Nectar is a budget-friendly mattress option crafted to serve all sleepers, and their customers would agree. We even ranked Nectar as one of the best budget mattresses in the industry.
  • Though Nectar offers a full year trial period and a lifetime warranty, less than 3 percent of customers return the mattress once purchased.
  • We loved how the Nectar relieved pressure point pain so much so that we named it one of the best mattresses for side sleepers.

Which Mattress is Best for You?

So which one will you make your new mattress? The Nectar is best for shoppers on a tight budget who still want that memory foam feel. For hot sleepers who still want to feel hugged by their mattress, go with the Leesa. And the Casper fits all sleep positions while delivering zoned support.

The Nectar provides some of the best motion isolation and edge support around. This makes it the best mattress for couples out of the 3 choices. You also get the most bang for your buck with the Nectar as well as a 365-night trial and lifetime warranty– doesn’t get much better than that.

Leesa offers excellent spine alignment and responsiveness as well as cooling. We already know the Leesa is a great pick for side sleepers because of its pressure-relieving foam, but it’s also great for combination and back sleepers. The Leesa was the highest scoring mattress out of the 3, so if you can afford to spend a little more, this is the best all-around mattress out of the 3 beds.

Soft layers of foam and zoned support make the Casper compatible with every sleeping position. It also scored high in spine alignment and responsiveness. We love how the Casper cradles your pressure points for that coveted cozy feeling.

Because all three of these mattresses are memory foam, you have to consider your own sleep needs to distinguish which is the best mattress for you. Side sleepers would love any of these mattresses, but the Leesa and Casper are better picks for all sleep positions. The Leesa is also  the only one out of the three that offers cooling. If you want a lower price point though, stick with the Nectar.
