Casper Mattress Reviews

When you think about a bed-in-a-box, Casper is one of the first brands that comes to mind. Check out our reviews of all 5 Casper mattress models to learn what’s what.

Casper is one of the most well-known, direct-to-consumer mattress brands. You’ve likely seen their creatures of comfort commercials on TV showing puppies, bunnies, and even hedgehogs finding comfort on a Casper, fallen asleep to the Casper Sleep Channel, or you may have even visited one of their showrooms

Casper has a stellar brand, but what about their mattresses? We’ll tell you everything you need to know about the five models Casper offers and direct you to our in-depth reviews for each individual option.

Why trust us?

Our team has tested over 100 mattresses in our in-house lab. It takes us roughly 6 to 10 hours to conduct evaluations, synthesize findings, and publish our reviews. AKA: our full-time staff has dedicated over 1,000 working hours to personally test every mattress that comes through our doors.

Collectively, 50 hours have been dedicated to reviewing Casper products at Mattress Advisor. Why? Because we care about your sleep.

Which Casper Mattress is Best for Me?

Obviously, one size does not fit all when it comes to mattresses. While some models could serve a variety of body types and sleeping styles, here is our professional opinion on which models suit each sleeping type best.

Best Casper Mattresses by Lifestyle

Your lifestyle can inform what type of mattress will best suit you. Rather than making you figure out how your personal information translates to a mattress type, we’ll just tell you what we know to be true based on our testing.

Just because a model has an ‘X’ beside it doesn’t mean that mattress won’t perform for your needs, it just means it’s not the best in this area.

Best Casper Mattresses by Sleeping Position

Your sleeping position also plays a large role in choosing the best mattress for you. Depending on your primary sleeping position, you need a mattress that contours and offers support in all the right places for a restorative night’s sleep.

Keep in mind that just because a model has an ‘X’ beside it doesn’t mean that mattress won’t perform for your sleeping position, it just means it’s not the best in this area.

Mattress Construction

If what’s in your mattress matters to you (which it should) then you’ll want to compare the models based on what you’re looking for. Some people prefer memory foam, while others prefer hybrid. If you’re a heavier sleeper, the layers in your mattress may matter more to you because you need more support.

Check out the chart below to figure out how each model could support you.

Shipping

Once you place your order, your Casper mattress ships from the facility within 1-2 business days via UPS. If you schedule in-home setup, UPS will first deliver your mattress to a local delivery hub. A representative will then contact you to confirm a 4-hour delivery window. If you are located in Los Angelos or New York, you may be eligible for same-day delivery.

Trial and Warranty

Each Casper mattress comes with a 100-night trial period and a 10-year limited warranty. If you decide your Casper mattress isn’t right for you, you can simply reach out to Casper at +1 888-498-0003 or support@casper.com and they will send a representative to your home to remove the mattress. Remember that it may take time to adjust to your new mattress and break it in, so allow at least 30 days before deciding to return.

FAQs

Where can I purchase a Casper mattress?

All Casper mattresses are available for purchase online at Casper.com and select models are sold on Amazon and through Target. You can also experience and purchase Casper at one of their brick-and-mortar retail locations across the United States. Find a location near you. (P.S. Shop our discount to save up to $200 — Code: MATTRESSADVISOR)

How does the 100-night trial work?

Casper’s 100-night trial period allows you to try any of the Casper mattresses in the comfort of your home for 100 nights from the day you receive it. If you decide to return your mattress within your trial period window, simply contact customer support (support@casper.com) and they will assist you with the return process. A representative will then come pick up the mattress and connect with a local charity or recycling program.

Once your pickup or donation is confirmed, you will receive a full refund of your original purchase price.

Will Casper set up my mattress or remove my existing mattress?

Casper offers in-home delivery and setup options across the 48 contiguous states and the Greater Toronto Area. After selecting this option at checkout, you will schedule a 4-hour delivery window for a representative to bring your new Casper mattress to your room of choice, unbox it, and remove any additional packaging.

This service costs $100 in the US, regardless of how many products you order. There is a discounted rate of $75 in select zip codes in New York City and Los Angeles. If you would like to have your old mattress removed, Casper charges an additional $50.

How long can Casper mattresses stay in the box?

You can keep your Casper mattress in its shipping box for up to three months, though we recommend unboxing it sooner rather than later. Keep in mind that the 100-night trial period begins the night you receive your Casper mattress, not the night you choose to start sleeping on it.

Can I clean my Casper mattress?

If you have to wash your cover, we do not recommend machine washing as the cover may shrink. Instead, unzip and remove the cover and gently dab and spot clean with a mild detergent. A mattress cover or protector can add even more protection, but keep in mind that the covers may reduce breathability.

Are Casper mattresses eco-friendly?

The foams used in the Casper mattresses are CertiPUR-US® Certified, meaning they meet some of the most rigorous standards for emissions, content, performance, and durability.

Will I need to flip my Casper mattress?

Nope! In fact, you shouldn’t flip your Casper mattress because the layers are designed to work best in the order they are in. You can, however, rotate your mattress. We recommend this if you sleep alone on one side of the bed or if you and your partner have a significant weight difference. You can do this every 3-6 months.
