We loved the Casper bed-in-a-box mattresses, and they have since launched into the bedding market. Their high-quality materials and competitive prices give other bedding giants, like Brooklinen and Parachute, a run for their money.

In this review, we’ll cover all things related to Casper bed sheets. Specifically, you’ll learn all you need to know about Casper’s Sateen, Airy Linen, and Cool Supima sheets

Sateen Sheets

Materials

Casper imports 100% OEKO-TEX® and GOTS certified cotton from Portugal for their Sateen sheets. These cotton sheets pass rigorous tests to earn these certifications and are safe for your little ones. They also use a gentle finish on their sheets, so they are safe for those with allergies or skin sensitivities.

We noticed that they start out pretty soft and only get softer with washings. They felt silky-smooth to the touch, and also slept cool, though they don’t provide extra cooling features.

Casper sheet sets are so soft because they prioritize how the sheets feel instead of thread count. High thread count doesn’t always equal softness. In fact, a higher thread count can cause sheets to feel heavy and less breathable. In contrast, the Sateen sheets were light and airy.

Additionally, the Sateen sheets (and all Casper sheets) are embellished with small tags to help you discern the top and bottom sides. The duvet cover has snaps to aid in easy assembly, and the fitted sheet has grippy elastic that keeps it in place.

Pro Tip: Casper recommends washing their cotton sheet sets every 1-2 weeks. Use warm water and tumble dry on low. Take them out of the dryer ASAP to prevent wrinkling.

Best/Worst For

Give Casper’s Sateen sheets a try if…

  • You want a lower-cost set of sheets

Try a different sheet set if…

  • You want to use your sheets for many, many years (cotton wears out faster than other fibers)
  • You prefer the feel of linen, flannel, bamboo, or other fibers
  • You tend to sleep extra hot

Airy Linen Sheets

Materials

Casper’s Airy Linen sheet sets are woven from 100% Belgian flax linen. Casper considers them their most luxurious feeling sheets and describes them as “relaxed soft.” They also feature tailored piping, which give them a clean, finished look.

We loved these sheets for their structured softness and breathability. Especially during hot summer nights, these sheets kept us cool. How? Heat moves through linen more easily than cotton.

Additionally, linen can feel a bit stiff for some consumers, so Casper pre-washes their linen sheets to break them in before they are shipped to you. They suggest washing these sheets with cold water on a gentle cycle and tumble drying on low heat. We found that 2-3 washes were all that was needed for ideal softness.

All of Casper’s sheet sets include pillowcases. If you order a King or California King sheet set, you’ll get King-sized pillowcases. The rest of the sizes come with standard-sized pillowcases. Currently, Casper only offers this sheet set in a pillowcase set. All other items are out of stock.

Best/Worst For

Consider Casper’s Airy Linen PillowCase Set if you…

  • Sleep hot, since linen is higher in breathability than cotton
  • Are looking for durable pillowcases
  • Are willing to pay a little more for luxury-grade pillowcases

Pass on these pillowcases if…

  • You don’t like the feel of linen
  • Are shopping with a tight budget
  • You want a pillowcase with matching sheets

Cool Supima Sheets

Materials

Casper’s Cool Supima sheets are woven from 100% Supima cotton from right here in the USA (specifically, California). We loved these sheets for their extra soft, cool feel. Plus, after we washed them several times, they got even softer.

Supima is a cotton fiber with an extra long staple, which makes it more durable and satiny than regular cottons. Casper’s long-staple cotton sheets have a 400 two-ply thread count and lightweight percale weave. These features make the Supima sheets extra breathable.

To keep them in tip-top shape, wash them with cold water on a gentle cycle and tumble dry on low heat.

Best/Worst For

Opt for Casper’s Cool Supima sheets if you…

  • Want Casper’s best bed sheets for hot sleepers
  • Like extra soft, sleek-feeling sheets
  • Prefer light, airy sheets

Try a different sheet set if you…

  • Need the cheapest sheet set Casper offers
  • Have an allergy to cotton or simply don’t like the feel

Customer Reviews

  • “These sheets are amazing. There’s elastic all the way around and they don’t pop off the corners like other ‘luxury’ sheets have. And now that temps are in the 90’s I appreciate the coolness of these sheets. Makes going to bed a pleasure!” – Allison
  • “These sheets are wonderful! They remind me of the percale sheets from my childhood. They are smooth, cool, and not too thick, sort of like sleeping on an expensive cotton dress shirt.” – Tammy J.
  • Love these sheets! The only thing that I don’t like is how they wrinkle even though you follow directions to a tee. Other than that I would recommend to anyone.” – Amazon Customer
