Ikea Collections Overview
Ikea doesn’t have collections, per se—they organize their mattress models by type. Foam mattresses can either be made of memory foam or polyurethane foam. Latex mattresses can either be made from synthetic latex or natural latex. The spring mattress collection features innerspring mattresses, a hybrid mattress model, and pillow top options. You truly get a variety. Mattresses will come roll packed in a box.

Next, let’s do a deeper dive into each Ikea collection and its best mattresses.
Foam Mattresses
Ikea foam mattresses are either made of memory foam or polyurethane foam, but both contour to your body for great relief from your pressure points and offer wonderful motion isolation. Ikea Company Overview
Ikea was founded in 1943 by Ingvar Kamprad when he was just 17. Back then, he just sold small home goods using a “thrifty and innovative” approach. Ikea began to sell their products via catalog because of its founding in a remote village: the prices were so low they needed a showroom to prove the quality.
Today, Ikea has come a long way from selling catalog furniture in Sweden. Now, they offer their furniture all over the world: from Australia to Turkey to Singapore. Their affordable mattress options with unique Swedish names are available across the US, both online and in Ikea retailers.
