Bed-in-a-box company Leesa Sleep, LLC, has announced the Original Hybrid mattress, a hybrid version of their popular Leesa Original mattress. The former Leesa Hybrid is returning to the name Sapira Hybrid.

Leesa says the new Original Hybrid has all the hug and subtle bounce of Leesa’s Original Mattress with support and airflow of springs. It also comes at an affordable price, making it a great option for those looking to spend under $1,300 on a queen-size mattress while still getting a similar quality mattress as the Sapira Hybrid.

The mattress sports Leesa’s recognizable gray and white stripe duo with a cool-to-the-touch feel. The first layer consists of 1” of premium memory foam, which provides pressure relief and contours to your body. Next is 1.5” of high-performance foam that gives a responsive bounce and helps you sleep cool.

Since this is a hybrid mattress, the bulk of the bed consists of an 8” spring unit, made up of 16-gauge coils. These offer excellent edge support and help promote airflow. Finally, the mattress ends with 3/4” high-density base support foam, which gives the overall structure the stability you need to stay in place. All foams used in the mattress are CertiPUR-US certified, meaning they meet standards for emission, content, and durability.

This bed comes at about a 6/10 on the firmness scale. Slightly softer than the industry standard for medium-firm, it works for most sleeping positions. Leesa specifically designed it for those who like the cradling feel memory foam offers but want the cooling and support benefits an innerspring core provides.

As a Certified B Corporation, Leesa says they are committed to transparency and service. Since 2014, they have donated 39,534 mattresses to those in need. Their headquarters run on renewable energy and their mattresses use natural and recycled materials.
