Unboxing the eLuxury Hybrid
We’ll start at the begin – opening and setting up the eLuxury Hybrid mattress. It took us only one minute and 23 seconds to unbox the eLuxury Hybrid mattress. Although the box arrived slightly damaged, it was not very heavy. There was a lot of plastic wrap, but the mattress took its full shape immediately. There was only a mild odor upon opening that went away quickly.

The Wine Test
What does wine have to do with a mattress test, you ask? It doesn’t have to do with drinking in bed!
The wine test is a visual indicator of how well a mattress isolates motion across the surface. This means, if you have a sleeping partner, you want to see a very still wine glass with little to no wobble. The less the wine moves, the less movement you’ll feel from your partner during the night and the better sleep you’ll get.
When we put the glass of wine on the eLuxury, it fared well! So we gave it an 8.5 out of 10. Take a look at the video below to see for yourself!
Mapping Pressure Relief
No one wants to wake up sore with aches and pains. That’s why pressure relief matters.
When on the eLuxury Hybrid, we saw indications that this mattress may put a slight bit of pressure on the shoulders, as indicated by the red and yellow regions on the pressure map results below.
Spine Alignment Test
A straight spine makes for a healthy and happy night’s sleep. The spine’s of our sleep subjects looked good overall while on the eLuxury Hybrid. There was only a slight curvature of the spine towards the base of the neck. See below!

What’s Inside the eLuxury 12” Hybrid Mattress?
The eLuxury Hybrid mattress is 12 inches in height and is made with a combination of contouring gel memory foam, temperature regulating latex, and pressure relieving micro-coils.
- 2” Gel-Infused Memory Foam: The top layer of the eLuxury Hybrid mattress is made of contouring memory foam that is infused with gel to help disperse body heat.
- 1” BiOH Gel Latex: The next layer of this mattress is made with latex, a material that promotes airflow and breathability so your mattress doesn’t trap heat.
- 1.5” Individually Wrapped Micro-Coils: The following layer comprised of micro-coils is designed to isolate motion and relieve pressure put on joints.

How does the 120-night trial work?
Simple. For 120 nights you get to sleep on an eLuxury mattress risk-free. If at any time during that trial period you decide the mattress is not for you, simply contact the customer support team at eLuxury to initiate a return and receive a full refund.
Does the eLuxury have a break-in period?
It may take your body some time to adjust to sleeping on a new mattress, especially if this is your first memory foam mattress. Generally, within 30 days you should be adjusted to your new mattress.
