Potential Drawbacks
- Could isolate motion better – The Helix Midnight Luxe’s hybrid construction feels super springy for ease of movement on the surface, but when it comes to absorbing motion, this much bounce can be a drawback. If you sleep with a partner, you’re likely going to feel their movements from the other side of the bed.
- Too soft for some – The plush pillow top may not provide the right amount of support for heavier sleepers or those who sleep on their stomach. Potential Drawbacks
- Not for foam fans – If your definition of a comfortable mattress includes a cradling hug on top, it might be best to look elsewhere. The WinkBed has enough soft foams to provide some pressure relief, but they won’t swaddle you like an all-foam mattress will.

What I Liked
- Affordable – The Nectar isn’t just a high-quality mattress, it’s a bargain buy. A queen costs only a little over $1,000, but frequent sales can bring the price down to under $700.
- Pressure relief star – The Nectar’s all-foam construction, particularly the softer layers on top, lends itself well to pressure relief. Side sleepers should especially appreciate the eased tension around areas like the hips and shoulders.
Potential Drawbacks
- Could overheat – The Nectar does have some cooling gel infused into one of its foam layers, but I personally don’t think it’s enough to combat the bed’s all-foam design. This bed is more likely to trap heat than a hybrid or dedicated cooling mattress.
- Too soft for some sleepers – Most sleepers should be able to find comfort on the Nectar mattress, but a few may need something firmer. Heavier sleepers or those who prefer their stomachs are going to require a mattress that keeps them a bit more lifted.

- Fairly strong edges – I thought that such a soft mattress might have weak edges, but the Helix Sunset surprised me with its reinforced perimeter. You should be able to sit at the edge without any egregious sagging.
- Has some bounce – The soft foams don’t dampen the effect of the coils beneath them. Repositioning should feel easy on the Helix Sunset despite the swaddling you’ll feel on top.
Potential Drawbacks
- Very soft – The Helix Sunset might be too soft for heavier sleepers, since they could sink uncomfortably far into the bed and throw off their alignment.
