What Are They Made of?

The Saatva Lofton Organic Sheet Set is crafted from 100% organic, long-staple cotton. Long-staple cotton is the go-to fiber for luxury linens. What long-staple means is that the cotton fiber itself is long. Long fibers create softer, more durable textiles than do shorter fibers. This type of fabric doesn’t pill or snag as easily as those made from short-staple cotton.

These superior cotton fibers are woven together in a sateen weave. The three-over, one-under sateen weave creates a fabric that’s buttery smooth. It’s this type of weave that looks truly elegant, with a luminous shine and silky feel.

Some sateen sheets can trap heat, but Saatva took steps to keep their sheets comparatively cool. To do this, they crafted a 300-thread count fabric. Too high of a thread count means the cotton fibers are woven closely together, trapping heat. 300-thread count provides a wonderful balance of breathability and a smooth finish.

When taken together, the long-staple cotton, sateen weave, and 300-thread count construction create a sheet set that looks and feels luxurious. What’s more, this type of fabric is easy-to-care-for and gets softer with every wash. Just be sure to use cold water and a low tumble dry setting to keep your sheets comfortable long-term.

The Lofton organic cotton fitted sheet is built to fit mattresses between 11” and 16” thick. This deep-pocket design helps to keep the sheets in place as you switch positions or change your adjustable frame setting.

What Makes the Saatva Lofton Sheet Set Special?

There are a lot of sheet sets out there. Here’s what makes the Saatva Lofton Sheet Set stand out amongst its competitors.

Its Elegant in Feel and Appearance: Saatva put a lot of thought into how to craft the perfect sheets. Long-staple cotton is breathable, soft, and durable. A sateen weave creates a silky, smooth appearance that casually drapes over the mattress. And the 300-thread count is the perfect balance between a luxurious texture and ample airflow. The result is a fabric that feels and looks elegant.

It’s Versatile: Saatva’s Lofton sheets are designed to work seamlessly with every Saatva mattress. Because Saatva manufactures an airbed, memory foam mattress, and multiple hybrid mattresses, the Lofton sheets work well with these mattress types. Additionally, these sheets come in the standard mattress sizes plus split king and queen and king upper flex—meaning they’ll fit almost any bed. Finally, the sheets work well on mattresses placed on a traditional bed frame or an adjustable base

It Sleeps Cool: Every detail of the Lofton Sheet Set is designed for cool sleep. The 300-thread count is just enough to feel silky smooth, but not so dense as to trap in heat. Long-staple organic cotton is naturally breathable. And lastly, the sateen weave facilitates air circulation.

It Gets Better with Every Wash: Long-staple cotton is one of few fibers that softens with use. Instead of sheets that become less comfortable with time, the Saatva Lofton sheets become more sumptuous as time goes by.

It’s Financeable: Being as the Saatva Lofton cotton sheets are a high-end sheet set, they’re rather expensive. Fortunately, Saatva offers financing through Klarna. You can finance these sheets either on their own or alongside one of Saatva’s luxury mattresses.
