Sealy has three main traditional mattress collections they dub “lines”: the response line, the conform line, and the hybrid line. Each line has three mattresses that range from good to better to best: an Essentials collection, a Performance collection, and a Premium collection.

Sealy also knows how to keep up with the growing demand in online mattress shopping, so they introduced Cocoon by Sealy, Sealy’s own bed-in–a-box collection.

The Response Line

The Response line from Sealy uses innerspring options to support every move you make throughout the night. Each mattress in this collection has an edge support feature to give you a solid sleep surface. 

This line supports all sleeping positions thanks to the various firmness levels available: side sleepers should opt for plush and pillow top options while back sleepers and stomach sleepers should look for a bed on the firmer side.

The Conform Line

The Sealy Conform collection uses memory foam to hug your body and relieve pressure points as you sleep. Each comfort layer incorporates gel memory foam to keep you cool as you sink down into the mattress.

Memory foam mattresses are great for couples because the foam layers quell motion transfer, meaning you don’t feel your partner’s movements at night.

The Hybrid Line

Sealy Company Overview

Sealy is a mattress brand with over a century of history attached to it, dating back to 1881. Fast forward to the 50’s when their patented Posturepedic Technology™ was invented. Posturepedic was created and perfected by orthopedic specialists to offer reinforced support in the middle of the mattress where 50% of your body weight lies. This allows your body to be level as you sleep, which is great for your spine as well as aches and pains.

In 2012, Sealy and Tempur-Pedic merged into one company but are still independently owned.

Pricing varies by collection. Typically, the Essentials mattresses are the most budget friendly and the Premium mattresses are a luxury splurge. Twin XL and Twin Long sizes are synonymous terms.

Trial Period and Warranty

Sealy offers a 10-year warranty on almost all of their mattresses; the Sealy 8” Essential mattresses have a 5-year warranty. All of their mattresses do come with a 100-night sleep trial.
