Serta was the mattress company that released the first plush “Pillow Soft” mattress to consumers and they proved that a firm mattress wasn’t always the be all and end all of mattress choices. They were also the first mattress company to design a continuous coil innerspring mattress.
Today, Serta is known as the #1 mattress brand in the United States and is recognized as an innovator worldwide. The company showcases a deep commitment to environmental sustainability and responsibility and all of it’s eco-friendly mattress components are proudly manufactured and constructed in the United States.

When you place an order on Serta’s website, and order directly from the mattress manufacturer, your mattress will take approximately 7 to 15 business days to be delivered to you. Delivery will be arranged through Serta’s shipping partner XPO Logistics and you will be contacted by the delivery company to arrange a time for dropoff.
Delivery can take place from 7am until 7pm, Monday through Friday. Of course, major holidays are excluded from delivery schedules and dates can vary based upon XPO’s operations where you live.
It is necessary to have the person who ordered the mattress or another adult over 18 years old present when the mattress is delivered. XPO and Serta reserve the right to leave the mattress with an authorized party: such as a doorman or a package center within an apartment building if an adult is not available or if you are not home.
Delivery through authorized retail partners will be managed and coordinated according to their terms and conditions.
When you make a purchase from the Serta website, you will be entitled to a 120-night home trial period with your new mattress that begins on the day of delivery. It might take a couple of weeks in order for you to truly adjust and get used to your Serta mattress. However, if you decide during the trial period that the mattress is not the choice for you, simply contact Serta at 1-888-708-1466 and the company will be happy to help you in arranging a return for free.
Serta’s 10-year warranty on its mattresses covers material defects and workmanship experienced by the original purchaser. Damage due to consumer behavior is not covered by the warranty.
If you need to clean your mattress, it is recommended that you apply baking soda to the dirty area and let it sit for approximately 15 minutes. Then use a vacuum on your mattress. You can repeat this as often as necessary. It is advised that you do not apply liquid to the mattress as this can make the situation worse, cause staining, and also result in damage to the mattress. It is wise to use a mattress protector to guard against damage, spills, and other issues.
When you first open your new mattress sometimes off-gassing can occur. This is very normal. In order for the smell to dissipate, simply allow your mattress some time to air out in a room with proper ventilation before you cover it with sheets.
The warranty claim process is easy. Simply fill out the warranty form found on Serta.com and submit it. From there, a team member at Serta will be in touch with you to speak with you about next steps.
Yes, the white glove delivery service will be happy to remove your old mattress when they deliver your new mattress to your home. Kindly note that this is a Serta-specific service. If you purchase through an authorized retailer they will have their own process for mattress removal.
A typical mattress will last anywhere from eight to ten years, and it is recommended that you replace your mattress after that time. If you find that your iComfort is losing its luster before the ten year mark and you suspect manufacturing defect as the culprit, then the 10-year warranty may cover it.
Although rotating your mattress is not required, doing it regularly (once a month) can help distribute wear in such a way that prevents premature sagging.
Nope! A hard, flat surface is all that’s needed for sufficient mattress support.
