Serta Bedding Company Overview

Serta was launched in 1933, two years after they began selling their first Perfect Sleeper mattress. Since its inception, Serta has produced some game-changing mattress designs.

In the 1970’s, they introduced their Pillow SoftⓇ mattress, showing that a firm mattress doesn’t have to be better. In the 1980s, they began producing their continuous coil system design. In 2005, they became the first mattress brand to have all of their mattresses meet the federal flammability standards.

Today, they keep their crown as America’s #1 mattress manufacturer and have won many other accolades as well. These include America’s Most Recommended Mattress and Pillow and Box Spring brand by the Women’s Choice Awards in 2014, 2015, and 2016.

You can find Serta mattresses at virtually any retailer, or you can just find them virtually on their website!
