  • Responsiveness: Casper’s memory foam does a good job at responding to movement. This means you won’t feel stuck and can move around easily.

From the day you receive your dream bed, you have 90 days to ensure it’s right for you. Tempur-Pedic asks that you sleep on your mattress for 30 days before making a final decision. Memory foam takes some time to break in and soften, and your body can take time to adjust to the new feel.

If you decide to return your mattress during the 90-day sleep trial, contact their customer service team for next steps. Every Tempur-Pedic mattress can be returned for a full refund, minus a $175 shipping fee.

The Tempur-Pedic mattress warranty is the standard warranty in the mattress industry. Their 10-year warranty covers defects in manufacturing or materials for 10 years from the date of purchase.

Pros

  • Pressure Relief: When it comes to mattresses with marshmallow-like comfort, nothing beats a Tempur-Pedic. The slow-response, cushiony memory foam gently hugs the curves. The close contouring relieves pressure from areas like the hips, shoulders, and lower back.
  • Innerspring Support: Each Tempur-Pedic hybrid mattress provides responsive support. Paired with their plush memory foam and you have some of the most comfortable hybrid mattresses around. The added support and spring is superb for sleepers over 230 pounds and combination sleepers.
  • Motion Isolation: Motion transfer is a common complaint amongst couples who share a mattress. Tempur’s patented memory foam absorbs motion rather than transferring it across the mattress. As a result, Tempur’s beds are some of the best at motion isolation. Even their hybrid mattresses do a great job at dampening motion.
  • Ideal for Lightweight Sleepers: Very few mattresses have a soft enough top layer for lightweight side sleepers. The soft Tempur-Pedic mattresses are an exception. Even the lightest sleepers can enjoy ample give at their shoulders and hips.
  • Cooling Technology: The Tempur-Pedic Breeze collection sleeps up to 8 degrees cooler than a standard memory foam mattress

Cons

  • Not Very Firm: Even Tempur-Pedic’s firmest mattresses register at a medium-firm. Because of this, these beds are not a good fit for stomach sleepers and others who like an ultra-firm mattress.
  • Sinking Feeling: Tempur mattresses have the classic sinking memory foam feel. They are best for those who want to sleep “in” and not “on” a mattress. Some sleepers find this sinkage uncomfortable.
  • Can Sleep Hot: Memory foam mattresses sleep hotter than the average innerspring or hybrid mattress. Hot sleepers can try a Tempur Breeze hybrid mattress or go with another type of bed.
  • High Price Point: Tempur-Pedic is a leading luxury mattress brand. As such, they cost more than the average memory foam or hybrid mattress
  • Return Fee: Tempur-Pedic charges a $175 return fee. This means that there is some financial risk when trying out a new Tempur-Pedic mattress
